[Pgwg] Popgen Seminar September 24th

Hi all,

Thank you to those who joined us for the working group meeting on Tuesday.  Please find notes from the meeting attached, and action items below.  The first action item is regarding a notice of intent published by NHGRI that seems perfectly suited to an effort by this group.  Discussion around this notice will take up the bulk of the next meeting, which will take place on November 21st, from 3:30-5pm, with a seminar to follow 5pm-7pm.

Action Items

  1.  All members to look over this notice of intent: https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-HG-20-005.html and come prepared to discuss at the next meeting.
  2.  Each institution to send an administrative contact to Lara that can help distribute flyers for the seminars.

Hi all,

I look forward to seeing you all at the Population Genomics working group meeting tomorrow.  Due to the seminar, the executive committee meeting will begin at 4pm.  The seminar will be held 5:30-7:30 in the auditorium, followed by wine and cheese/networking.
